"Mutsuhassen blanc Junmai" is a sake with a fruity, Muscat-like aroma and a firm acidity derived from white malt. It is reminiscent of a dry, white wine. This local sake from Aomori Prefecture uses local rice and yeast and sources its water from the famed Kanizawa district of Hachinohe. The sake has a juicy acidity rarely found among sake varieties. Full-bodied in flavor, it has refreshing aromatic hints akin to Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling. This is a new, beginner-friendly genre of sake that can be enjoyed out of a glass.

[About "Mutsuhassen"]
"Mutsuhassen" combines "Mutsu", a part of northeastern Japan, and the Chinese legend of the Eight Immortals. The name is an invitation to enjoy sake to your heart's content. Their rich, robust sake has an appealing fruity smell and fresh flavor.

[Pairing food proposed from Vendor]
Marinated vegetables, acqua pazza, tom kha kai, crab cream croquettes, mushroom and cheese risotto.
